Jesus of Nazareth doll

I love this doll for using in illustrations for our younger age groups within kids ministry. The kids see it & instantly know that we are talking about Jesus & having that well made visual is priceless in teaching.

Over a year ago a stranger gifted my daughter with a Jesus doll. We know he isn’t the REAL Jesus, but he’s a great reminder! Now we just got one for my son. I’m looking forward to gifting them to each child God gives us when they come of age and start having remembered nightmares or just start feeling nervous about situations. The hope is they can hold onto these dolls and pass them onto their children someday as we pray they will pass on the unbeatable love of following and obeying the true Jesus.

I talk about Jesus, have pictures of Him in the house, and pray to Him… but I was thinking of a way I could introduce my 2yo to Him as an actual person. I found this amazing doll of Jesus and it was the answer I was looking for! When I received the doll I prayed and told the Lord that it was my hope that this doll would represent Him to my son. I asked Him to use this doll to connect to my son in a personal way. I put Jesus (the doll) next to my son’s book case in his room. Every night we read books together before he goes to bed. He also has another favorite stuffy there he calls “Puppy”. Anyway, I introduced Jesus to my son by telling him, “This is Jesus Who I always pray to. He’s my best friend and loves me so much. Jesus really loves you too and wants to be a great friend to you, as well.” I asked my son if it was okay for Jesus to read stories with me, him, and Puppy at night before bed. My son agreed. Very quickly Jesus became a part of our nighttime routine. Puppy and Jesus became quick friends, and my son began to accept hugs from Jesus. He started to incorporate Jesus into our routine on his own, which is a huge success. My son is very particular. He has maybe 30 stuffies, and none of them have made it into his inner circle accept Puppy and Jesus!!! Now my son is talking to Jesus and thinking of Him as a person! Hallelujah! I also love how this doll shows Jesus’ Middle Eastern background. Jesus was a Jewish man, not European background like me and my son, and I want him to know Jesus’ background.
